French watchmaker YEMA holds a revered place in military horology, having supplied robust tool watches to air force pilots, polar explorers, and naval divers since the mid-20th century.

As the official watchmaking partner of the French Navy, YEMA continues that legacy into 2026 as the Marine Nationale celebrates 400 years of maritime history.

To mark this quadricentennial milestone, the brand has launched the Yema Navygraf Marine Nationale CMM.10 Watch.

Priced at £1,526, this professional-grade 300m diver combines authentic 1970s military design codes with YEMA’s modern in-house mechanical manufacturing.

In-House Manufacture Calibre CMM.10
The beating heart of the Navygraf Marine Nationale is YEMA’s ground-up in-house automatic movement, the Calibre CMM.10 (Calibre Maison Morteau).

Designed, manufactured, assembled, and regulated at YEMA’s historical workshops in Morteau, France, this calibre elevates the watch into true manufacture territory.

Running at a high frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), the CMM.10 boasts an expanded 70-hour power reserve via an optimized large barrel.

More importantly for a tactical instrument, it delivers stringent chronometric precision rated to -3/+5 seconds per day alongside high resistance to magnetic fields and physical shocks.
Redesigned 39mm Case Architecture
To house the new CMM.10 movement, YEMA’s engineers completely re-sculpted the historic 1970s Navygraf case. Shaving 1.5mm off the overall thickness while maintaining a compact 46mm lug-to-lug span, the 39mm 316L stainless steel case sits low and balanced on the wrist.
“By housing their French-made CMM.10 manufacture movement inside a slimmed-down 39mm case, YEMA has crafted a authentic military tool watch that honours 400 years of French naval history.”
The finishing features crisp brushed surfaces offset by hand-polished chamfers along the lugs.

The solid screw-down crown is deeply embossed with the official French Navy anchor logo, contributing to a robust 300-metre (30 ATM) water resistance rating that is further backed by a double-domed sapphire exhibition caseback.
“No-Date” Dial Symmetry & Sapphire Dive Bezel
Developed in direct collaboration with Marine Nationale personnel, the dial layout places uncompromised legibility above all else.

Purists will appreciate the clean “No-Date” configuration, which preserves symmetrical harmony across the deep blue-and-white dial face.
