Priced at £8850 and strictly limited to just 150 individually numbered pieces, this second collaboration channels the romance of vintage racing timekeeping through a sharp, contemporary lens.
Led by Mai Ikuzawa—Team Principal, Creative Director, and daughter of legendary driver Tetsu Ikuzawa—alongside longtime collaborator George Bamford, the design fuses heritage timing instruments with a modern visual language that bridges fashion, art, and automotive culture.
Inspired by the Heuer Roadmaster
At the heart of the design concept lies an archival hero from TAG Heuer’s timing history: the Heuer Roadmaster stopwatch.
Originally relied upon for rally timing and trackside duties, the Roadmaster was celebrated for its high-contrast legibility, stark functional typography, and bold color palette.
Mai Ikuzawa and George Bamford channeled those exact visual codes into the dial face. Replacing traditional applied hour markers with clean, printed black numeral indexes, the dial adopts an unmistakable instrument-like persona.
The dial surface features a crisp white Clou de Paris hobnail pattern, evoking Team Ikuzawa’s iconic racing colors.
Vibrant red lacquer accents sweep across the hour and minute hands, central chronograph seconds, and the dedicated date disc at 6 o’clock, where every single numeral is printed in Team Ikuzawa’s signature shade.
Glassbox Architecture & Vintage Layouts
The foundation for this release is TAG Heuer’s acclaimed 39mm Carrera Glassbox in fine-brushed and polished stainless steel.
Defined by its bezel-free construction, the dramatic domed sapphire crystal extends seamlessly over the sloping black outer flange, affording an uninterrupted view across the entire display.
