Celebrating 15 Years of Independent Swiss Innovation

Wandering hours complications are typically associated with luxury independent manufactures charging five-figure sums.

Swiss brand DWISS has spent fifteen years democratising unconventional horological displays, winning numerous international design awards in the process.

To mark its 15th anniversary, the brand introduced the DWISS Wandering Hours S1 Orange, a 50-piece limited edition celebrating orbital time-telling.

Inspired by the celestial rotation of the Moon around the Earth, the S1 replaces central hands with three rotating satellite discs that sweep across a 120-degree minute arc along the upper half of the dial.

As the active hour numeral glides past the minute track, the next hour disc rotates into position to take over seamlessly.

Wandering Hours Geometry & La Joux-Perret Power

The anniversary edition features a saturated orange fumé dial that transitions smoothly from a radiant citrus centre to a dark outer perimeter.

At the center, a rotating disc handles running seconds, adding continuous kinetic motion to the face.

“By adapting a Swiss La Joux-Perret G100 movement to drive a wandering hours satellite display, DWISS brings high-concept orbital horology to an accessible tier.”

The 40mm cushion-shaped case is crafted from 316L stainless steel, combining sandblasted surfaces with brushed lug facets.

With a compact 44mm lug-to-lug span and 100 metres of water resistance, the case geometry sits balanced and flat on the wrist.
