British luxury brand Bremont has expanded its technical sport watch collection with the Bremont Supernova 41mm Chronograph Hawking Edition (£7,700).
Created in collaboration with the Hawking family, this limited edition pays tribute to theoretical physicist Professor Stephen Hawking and his landmark research into black holes.
The black galvanic dial features an interlocking geometric grid pattern inspired by spacecraft solar arrays.
At 3 and 9 o’clock sit dual chronograph counters machined from genuine meteorite, showcasing unrepeatable crystalline Widmanstätten patterns formed in deep space over millions of years.
At 6 o’clock, Hawking’s name is printed alongside the thermodynamic equation for black hole entropy.
904L DLC Trip-Tick Construction & BC77 Chronometer Power
The 41mm case is constructed from 904L stainless steel treated with a scratch-resistant DLC coating.
Utilizing Bremont’s Trip-Tick® architecture, the angular case features a multi-faceted decahedral black ceramic bezel and an integrated quick-release DLC bracelet or rubber strap.
